Minimalist Running Shoe Review Unboxing – Merrell Men’s Trail Glove 4 Runner
The Merrell Men’s Trail Glove 4 Runner has been a great show. I am updating this description today January 1, 2020. I have worn the shoe for work in the clinic as a physical therapist as well as the occasional run. It is ideal for a medium or narrow foot. I absolutely would not recommend it for a wide foot or a foot that will swell over the day.
The material has held up well since the original purchase. No cracks or holes have appeared. I have never used these shoes to run more than 4 miles in a single episode. I wear them for work 2 days a week on average.
As a physical therapist I believe your foot is more like a hand than a wheel. Shoe companies tend to shape shoes like wheels, but our foot needs room to grow, flex, wriggle, and most importantly feel. This is a reasonable option for someone looking to step into the world of minimalist shoes without violating social norms of what a show should look like.
