Best Tip To Improve [Knee Extension] After A Total Knee Replacement – Prone Hangs – PT at home 2020
Swelling, pain, and other factors may contribute to limited range of motion in both extension and flexion.
The most effective way to improve knee extesion is to perform “prone hangs.”
This simple strategy involves positioning yourself on your stomach while your foot hangs off the side of the bed. There are several ways to achieve this position.
In this video I show you how to do it with and without compression, with and without a pillow under the thigh, and I discuss how long I would spend in this position.
