All right, so since I showed you how to put on the TENS unit, how to adjust the TENS unit
0:05
let's talk about taking it off. And so obviously the first thing you need to do is you need to turn
0:12
off your two little knobs. I've got this particular TENS unit set to turn off automatically at the 15
0:19
minute mark. I prefer somebody have a TENS unit on for 15 minutes, then turn it off for 15 minutes
0:25
and then use it again for another 15-minute cycle instead of having it on continuously for 30 minutes
0:33
So I always set my adjustments so that it turns off at 15
0:38
It's on the normal mode. I usually like the pulse rate to be at 70 to 120
0:45
and the pulse width to be about 120. But you can play around with those
0:51
There's no right or wrong way to use it. you're looking for the sensation that feels best to you
0:58
So now that both leads are turned off, I closed the little protective case
1:05
I always save the plastic that the pads were on because this will help increase the life
1:12
and stickiness of the pads Men I sorry there just no way to get around ripping out some of the leg hair You take the pads off you put them right on
1:25
the plastic that it came with. Oh, that's a good one. And then I like to have all my wires facing
1:38
the same way and like I mentioned earlier in the video so usually what I'll do is I'll give myself
1:45
a little bit of slack I'll wrap the wires around the tens unit have a little slack at the end
1:51
and so inside the box there's a large cavity and a small cavity the unit originally came on this
1:59
side but if I keep the wires and everything connected I put it on the larger side I just
2:04
turn those wires in so they face each other. The leads lay on top, close it up
2:11
try not to pinch anything, and you are good to go. You can use it as frequently
2:22
as you like. You can potentially use it every time you're working on increasing
2:27
range of motion whether it be flexion or extension. So if you have any questions
2:32
Let me know in the comments below. Otherwise, thanks for watching
